Thieves Essential Oil Blend

This blend was developed according to the legend about the four thieves in 15th century England who used oils and spices to protect themselves while robbing plague victims. The aroma is spicy and sweet.

Aromatherapy is administered by inhalation and topically. When inhaled, very simply, the molecules interact with the surface of your nasal cavity. Tiny olfactory nerves that are located in the room of the inner nose transmit these aromas to the part of the brain called the limbic system. The limbic system interacts to control heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress level and hormone balance. This is why essential oils have such a powerful effect on our moods and general state of mind. When applied externally, the essential oils get absorbed into your skin and you get a more systemic approach.

The essential oils used in these products are consciously sourced from suppliers that guarantee purity through gas chromatography / mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) testing. Clove Essential Oil: Clove oil is an anti-microbial and helps to kill bacteria. Relieves respitory conditions like cough and asthma. Has a sweet, spicy fragrance that is stimulating and revitalizing.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil: Has anti-microbial properties that help to kill bacteria.

Rosemary: Has a fresh, herbaceous, sweet, slightly medicinal aroma. Is energizing oil, it may be beneficial for helping to restore mental alertness when experiencing fatigue.

Cinnamon Essential Oil: Cinnamon oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Also a very energizing oil.

Lemon Essential Oil: Has a strong, purifying, citrus scent that is revitalizing and uplifting.
